MMIWG Art Gallery Display
Join the VOICE Center and the Society of American Indian Graduate Students at Montana State University in the SUB Ballroom B for a two day art gallery display representing and honoring the national epidemic of Murdered and Missing Indigenous Women and Girls. This art display will take place in April, which is recognized nationally as Sexual Assault Awareness Month. It will spotlight how native women and girls in Montana have been directly impacted and how we as a community can come together to develop shared solutions and knowledge about this issue. The display will end with a survivor speak out, giving space to survivors in the community to share their voices and experiences and will feature the keynote speaker Meg Singer, Indigenous Justice Program Manager with ACLU Montana! After the survivor speak out we will kick off our Take Back the Night festivities which you can learn more about on our Facebook page! --> https://www.facebook.com/events/2247109608688879/?active_tab=about
