Pottery Beginning & Intermediate: Winter 2019
ART EDUCATION
This class offers more in-depth instruction on mid-range stoneware and porcelain clays with hand building, wheel projects, and new surface treatments. This class is suitable for first timers or people who already have a working knowledge of ceramics and want to increase their skill level.
THURSDAYS: January 10 – February 28, 6:30PM – 9:00PM

8 Weeks: $234 Members/$260 Non-members
*Class fee includes one bag of clay, glazes & firing. Additional clay may be purchased for $25 a bag (this fee includes extra firing and glazes). NO production pottery is allowed. Up to two additional bags may be purchased per semester. No half-bags sold. Only clay purchased from the Emerson maybe used in classes.
Hours posted in the pottery studio. 2–4 studios offered per week for 3 hour periods. Open hours are ONLY for students currently enrolled in pottery classes. The cost is $3 per hour. Students planning to attend must arrive within the first hour of open studio. Monitors will leave and the studio will close if there are no participants within the first hour.
Cost: $234/Members; $260/Nonmembers - 8 week
