Encaustic Painting Demonstration by Adair Peck
Join artist Adair Peck for an encaustic painting demonstration Tuesday, December 18, at 6:30 PM in the Community Room.
Encaustic painting involves using heated beeswax to which colored pigments are added. The wax is then applied to a surface, usually prepared wood. Tools and special brushes can be used to shape the paint before it cools.
Peck’s work is currently on display in the Library’s Atrium Gallery until December 31.
