$12 admission includes beer tasting, gallery talks, exhibits, & light appetizers. Space is limited. *This program is not offered in December and January.

Brews & the Big Sky explores the unique history of the Big Sky state paired with unique Montana brews. Enjoy an adults-only night out as the museum becomes a lively venue for drinks and local history. Sample beer from a featured Montana brewery, enjoy light appetizers and wander through MOR’s exhibitions. Enjoy informal gallery talks with Curator of History, Michael Fox, at 6 & 6:30 p.m. in the Paugh History Hall or the Changing Exhibit Gallery. Explore items from MOR’s collections, ask questions, and learn more about Montana’s past. This popular adults-only evening at MOR is the perfect way to discover great brews and the history of the Big Sky state. 

November 27 | Charlie Bair of Martinsdale, the Wool Kingwith Bayern BrewingCharles M. Bair arrived in Billings, MT as a conductor on the Northern Pacific Railroad in 1883. By the early 1900s, he was the largest wool producer in the U.S., a multi-millionaire and a friend of western artists like Charlie Russel and Joseph Henry Sharp. Learn more about how his hard work, determination, and personality made him a Montana legend.
