Our Yellowstone is a unique series of arts and cultural programming, speakers, and exhibits in celebration of our First National Park. Sept. 6th speaker is David Quammen, a science, nature, and travel writer and the author of fifteen books. He will discuss his new book, “The Tangled Tree: A Radical New History of Life,” and his work writing about Yellowstone. He has published hundreds of pieces of short nonfiction in magazines such as Harper’s, National Geographic, Outside, Esquire, The Atlantic, Powder, and Rolling Stone. Mr. Quammen has been honored with an Academy Award from the American Academy of Arts & Letters, and is a three-time recipient of the National Magazine Award. He is a contributing writer for National Geographic Magazine.
