Baroque Music Montana explores the consort and folk repertoire from the British Isles. This concert will pair local baroque violinist Carrie Krause with her esteemed mentor, Ingrid Matthews. Artistic and elegant Ingrid founded the Seattle Baroque Orchestra, and has an extensive award winning discography. The mellow and aristocratic viola da gamba will make its Baroque Music Montana debut, played by Joanna Blendulf. The performance will take place in an intimate space with refreshments. Works by Blow, Matteis, Purcell, Jenkins, and Locke. Additional concerts in Shepherd, Helena, Missoula, Hamilton, and Big Sky.
