Thrash Grass. Blending traditional bluegrass with thrash metal, the album hits hard and heavy yet has a pleasantly cohesive sound.

The first single off Thrash Grass, titled “Thunderhead”, went viral on Facebook after the band released the music video in December of 2016. With well over 12 million views, the viral video brought international attention to the EP, landing them at number four on the Bluegrass Billboard Charts. “It was truly an amazing time for us”, says Jake Sawicki, one of the founding members of the band. “We went from basically no one knowing our name, to getting Facebook messages from fans from Australia and Thailand. We couldn’t believe it.”
Since the success of Thrash Grass, the band has released two more singles and music videos and is getting ready to release a 15-track album, titled Out of the Garden and Into the Darkness. “This album encapsulates everything we are, were, or will be”, says lead singer, Alex Holycross. “It is the most mind-blowing piece of art we have ever created.”
Debut songs from the new album will be showcased at Zebra Cocktail Lounge on May 1, along with fan favorites from Thrash Grass and their prior album, Inukshuk
