Ty Stevenson
Ty Stevenson was born in 1981 in Ann Arbor, MI. A couple years later, he moved to the small farm town of Caro, MI where his father was a State Police Trooper and his mother a voice/piano teacher. Ty grew up playing sports, mainly baseball, and also spent a lot of time learning piano/voice via lessons from his mother. As a high schooler, Ty was very active in basketball, baseball, and football, and was also heavily involved with his local church…all the while never straying too far from a duck hunting blind. Upon graduating, Ty attended Wayne State University in Detroit, MI, where he majored in English and history while playing varsity baseball and serving as captain. Ty spent a number of years working as a college administrator, high school teacher, and basketball coach before become the managing partner of a small business franchise, only to return to university work as a recruiter and administrator. During his college years, Ty began actively writing country music, and currently has comprised a portfolio that includes over 100 personally-written songs. His first professionally-recorded, studio album, “Until The End,” was released in December 2010. His is second album, “Top Gun,” was released in 2016. Currently working for LEGO Education, Ty and his wife Brittni reside in Bozeman, MT where he continues to pursue country music.
