Built around the unmistakable sound of the vibraphone, Luminous is a trio of experienced musicians. Their sound is created by a dedication to exploring harmonic possibilities, an unwavering focus on improvisation, and a deep commitment to groove and rhythmic solidarity. Each musician draws upon a wealth of experiences from other musical contexts. Vibraphonist Silas Stewart also performs as a rock drummer, contemporary percussionist, and jazz sideman.
