Philipsburg Summer Concert
Historic Philipsburg's 150th Birthday Summer will be highlighted with an all-day concert at Winninghoff Park Arena on Saturday August 19th. Artists this year include the original and innovative tribute to Johnny Cash: The Cold Hard Cash Show; local favorite Jeremy McComb and several of his hit songwriter friends from Nashville; and Shodown, voted 2017's "Best Band" in the Missoulian annual poll. Gates will open at 11 AM. The festivities begin at noon and run until five PM. Food, beer (including micro brews from Philipsburg Brewery), wine, soft drinks and water will be available for purchase, in addition to commemorative and musical artist merchandise. Concert attendees are encouraged to bring blankets, lawn chairs and umbrellas for maximum comfort. Free RV parking will be offered at the Sunshine Station. Additional hotels and camping are within minutes of the venue. Handicapped seating will also be available. No pets, except for service dogs, will be admitted. No outside food or beverages will be allowed. Organized by the Philipsburg Rotary Club, all proceeds from the event go right back to into the community for local projects and charities. Tickets at www.philipsburgrotary.org. Prices are $35 for adults, $15 for 7-12 year olds, and children 6 and under free. A special early bird discount of two tickets for $50 will be available until June 30th, or while supplies last.
