Bridger Creek Boys
The Bridger Creek Boys are an acoustic Bluegrass quartet steeped in old-time Bluegrass tradition while pushing the genre with “Newgrass”. The Band mixes originals with covers of traditional bluegrass material (Bill Monroe, Dock Boggs, etc) and more contemporary artists (Greatful Dead, Steve Earle, The Band, etc). The Bridger Creek Boys have spent the past four years bringing their music to audiences in Montana, Idaho, Wyoming and Colorado. The band was a finalist in the 2007 Telluride New Band Competition. They also host the annual Bozeman Bluegrass Festivals. Original Bridger Creek Boys Matt Broughton (Fiddle, Mandolin) and Jim Dungan (Guitar, BLues Harp) are excited to be playing with the newest members of the band, Tony Polecastro (Dobro, Banjo) and Scott Stebbins (Bass). The new line-up features an incredible energy and an outstanding level of playing.
