Gallatin Grass Project is a trio of pickers and grinners hailing from the mountains and taverns of southwest Montana, providing acoustic revelry to Montana's speakeasies and campfires since 2009. GGP provides traditional and contemporary bluegrass with a mix of originals and foot stomping classics. GGP's members have been playing in different arrangements since 2009 and have opened events for acts including Jason Isbell, Billy Strings, Town Mountain, Clumsy Lovers, and Rabbit Wilde. The group has participated in Big Sky Resort's Big Sky Big Grass festival for five years running, performing in support of some of the biggest names in bluegrass including Sam Bush, Leftover Salmon, Peter Rowan, Del McCoury and others.
