This spring, the United Way kidsLINK after-school program is partnering with Gallatin Valley Farm to School to bring Family Cooking Nights to schools around the Gallatin Valley! During these events, parents and students will learn how to cook a healthy meal while engaging with their families. Great conversation, new skills, and a tasty meal will provide an evening of family fun. Volunteers are needed to set up cooking stations, assist families in following recipes, and lead conversation about the importance of local food systems. This could be an excellent opportunity for service learning or students who want to further explore nutrition education in the Bozeman community. Volunteer shifts will begin at 4:30 pm and end at 7:30 pm.
