Martin Luther King Day Expression Series and Opening Reception
The Diversity Awareness Office and Bozeman MLK Day Organizing Committee will present the MLK Day Art Display, featuring art and writing from community members, January 20th-30th at Rockford Coffee. Community members have submitted works of art and writing in response to either of two Martin Luther King quotes:
* “The time is always right to do what’s right.” Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr –Oberlin College, 1965
* "I have decided to stick with love…Hate is too great a burden to bear." Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. -- Where Do We Go From Here, 1967.
An opening reception will take place at the Rockford (18 E. Main) on Friday, January 20th from 5:00-6:30 pm. The art will be on display through January 30th.
