Back by Popular Demand: "Growing Up" workshops for adolescent kids and a parent or other significant adult! These workshops are an opportunity for girls and boys ages 9-12 and a parent or significant adult to learn more about the facts of puberty with fun and interactive activities that facilitate positive communication between children, adults and their community. Female workshop from 9 - Noon, male workshop from 1 - 4 and a tour of the fire station for all at Noon! During the course of the workshop you will: • Receive accurate information about puberty (primarily as it relates to girls, but also about the process for boys) • Discuss physical, emotional and social changes of puberty • Learn how to communicate more comfortably and effectively in general, and about puberty specifically • Identify recommended puberty education resources • Have fun Registration required by contacting Cami at 587-0581, ext. 13 or carmijo@bridgercare.org.
