Have you ever wanted to help your kids with their math homework only to discover that you don't understand the way that math is being taught? Learn a few simple techniques to engage with your kids in challenging situation ,so you can change the conversation from impossibility to willingness. Join us for a free workshop on Thursday, September 8 from 6-7:30pm in the Conference Room. We will examine both personal and cultural limiting beliefs, learn the difference between a fixed and growth mindset, and how to shift those beliefs. The program is facilitated by Lei-Anna Bertelsen, Mathematics Educator & Coach and Power of Connection Mentor.
