Linsley Hartenstein, a singer-songwriter from Ohio, plays Wild Joe*s in Bozeman on Friday and Saturday evenings 7-9 over the 4th of July weekend.
The young indie folk singer sites influences ranging from Jon Foreman, Noah Gundersen to Paul McCartney. She says her aim is to capture the beauty in the tension between human depravity and redemption. Her voice exudes a vulnerability and feminine innocence that brings to mind classic artists such as Suzanne Vega and Ricki Lee Jones.

Linsley’s new album is called Highway 93. The lead track, Wanderlust, is a song about the struggle that exists when someone with a restless spirit feels trapped in their live.
