YURT will be playing at RTP for the very first time on June 20. A groovy 4-piece band that formed here in Bozeman, YURT is: Marlo Kapsa on vocals, guitar, synth; Shane Levers on vocals, guitar, synth, samples; Olivia Kesterson on drums; and Roerick Sweeney on bass. This summer, they are touring down the west and east coast, sharing their funky electronic beats with anyone who wants to listen -- or anyone who wants to talk about yurts really.
