Back by Popular Demand: Growing Up Female Workshop for adolescent girls and a parent or other significant adult! Bridgercare will be offering a “Growing up Female” puberty workshop on Saturday, April 30th, 2016 from 9 AM – Noon at the Gallatin City/County Health Department at 215 W Mendenhall, Bozeman, MT. This workshop is an opportunity for girls ages 9-12 and a parent or significant adult to learn more about the facts of puberty with fun and interactive activities that facilitate positive communication between children, adults and their community. During the course of the workshop you will: • Receive accurate information about puberty (primarily as it relates to girls, but also about the process for boys) • Discuss physical, emotional and social changes of puberty • Learn how to communicate more comfortably and effectively in general, and about puberty specifically • Identify recommended puberty education resources • Have fun This workshop is free, but registration is required.
