Join us for an all day party in celebration of independent bookstores!
We will have free food, live music, live poetry, exclusive merchandise and so much more!
11am - 1pm: Meet adoptable pets from Heart of the Valley Animal Shelter
1 - 2pm: Calling all teens! Learning writing tips and tricks from authors Kent Davis and Janet Fox
2 - 4pm: Practice your reading skills by reading to a therapy dog
3 - 4pm: Met your favorites at our local author reception
5 - 6pm: Discuss The Storied Life of A.J. Fikry by Gabrielle Zevin at a special Independent Bookstore Day book club
