Radical Aging: A Seminar For Women 50-ish

Ina Albert, a certified Age-ing to Sage-ing® Seminar Leader with Sage-ing International, Life Transition Coach and author, invites women 50-ish to examine the dramatic changes that take place as they enter the second half of life. The Radical Aging Seminar will be held on Friday evening, April 15 from 7 p. to 9 pm, and Saturday, April 16 from 10 am to 3 pm at Bozeman Dharma Center, 1019 E. Main St. Ste. 2. In Bozeman.

According to Albert, author and Life Transitions Coach, Betty Friedan was right when she said, “Aging is not lost youth, but a new stage of opportunity and strength.”

Albert says, “The OMG moment for 50-year-olds is when they recognize that ‘my life is half over and ask what haven’t I done that I want to do in this lifetime?

“The answers to these questions can get fuzzy,” says Albert and invites participants to explore issues of aging together.

“Mid-century it is time to refire,” says Albert. “We see physical changes—menopause, gray hair, and wrinkles. At the same time, we experience new zest and energy. We are freed from responsibilities of caring for children and keeping the household going. The radical question for women is, “Now What?” It’s an opportunity to find direction, purpose and passion—to take time from the doing of daily life to define how we will be as we go forward and to ask:

• What have I accomplished so far?

• What haven’t I done that I still want to do?

• What do I consider a life well lived?

The Radical Aging Seminar is designed to help discover the answers to these profound questions.

The fee for the two-day session is $125, with an early registration of $100 if paid by April 8.
