Tropical Enumerative Geometry Lecture
A free public lecture about the use of tropical geometry to solve enumerative geometric problems will be given Wednesday, April 6, at Montana State University.
Renzo Cavalieri, associate professor in the Department of Mathematics at Colorado State University, will speak at 4 p.m. in 301 Roberts Hall.
Cavalieri’s lecture, "Tropical Enumerative Geometry," is part of MSU's Mathematical Sciences Colloquium Series.
The Department of Mathematical Sciences and the dean of the College of Letters and Science are sponsoring this lecture.
