Flexibility Training Workshop w/Daniel Patrick
Flexibility Training: Jan 10th 2-4pm at Main Street Dance.
For individuals who are looking to take on a new stretching regimen, this class begins by teaching passive flexibility exercises using a classic Contortion technique of “push & pull” as well as looking at strength based “active” flexibility. Students will explore both solo and partner stretching while focusing on using the breath as a training tool to minimize pressure on the body’s joints and muscles. The class will hold a strong emphasis on form and posture while spending time working all splits, forward and back bending, shoulder and neck
mobility, as well as feet and wrist function.
