Children's Author Jack Day
Gramma and Grampa’s Adventures in Yellowstone National Park is a fully illustrated chapter book about the adventures Gramma and Grampa had while visiting the park each month of the year. Their exploits carried them to many parts of the park including Lamar and Hayden valleys, and beyond. The animals they encountered ranged from the mighty moose to the multi-colored harlequin ducks; from the magnificent elk to the playful river otters. The end of each chapter includes a line drawing of an animal that can be colored.
Jack Day moved to Bozeman forty years ago, and as he tells his friends, he’s never looked back. He became very active in his business and his community. He was the founder of the youth soccer program, and the president for several years. He also served as president of the Friends of Montana Public Television and the Intermountain Opera Association. Upon retiring from his business he has taken up writing. This is his second children’s book.
