14th Annual Elise Event: Merchant of Venice

The 14th Annual Elise Event at the MSU Black Box Theatre on Saturday, November 7th at 7pm (doors at 6:30pm) featuring a performance of Shakespeare’s The Merchant of Venice.

“Elise Donohue believed that all students should have access to Shakespeare in performance. In her honor, the Elise Event was established in 2002 as a way to help sustain the Shakespeare in the Schools program. Join us on Saturday, November 7th for a rare public performance of Shakespeare’s The Merchant of Venice performed by Shakespeare in the Schools’ professional actors. After the 80-minute performance, join the cast, director, and designers for delicious food and drink. Tickets are $40 and all proceeds go to support Shakespeare in the Schools, now in its 23rd season.”
