Montana State University's Extended University is providing Outdoor Science Courses this fall! This series will focus on the rock cycle, major rock types, and the geologic features as a primer for being able to identify various rock types. The basic rock types you will learn are sedimentary, igneous, and metamorphic. Come interact with different rock samples and better understand the geologic processes that have shaped the earth!
