One of the first Western women to take full monastic vows in multiple Buddhist traditions. Her background in Buddhist philosophy and practicespans 44 years,many in solitary retreat Ani has overcome serious health problems and has used these experiences to find meaning in life and bring benefit to others. She will give a public talk Fri. July 10, 7-9pm, "Making Sense of the Confusion in Our Lives" Sat. July 11 workshop," Utilizing Appearances in Daily Life as the Path to Awakening", 10am-12pm & 2-5 pm.
