Memorial Day Parade
To celebrate Memorial Day, Gallatin Post 14 of the American Legion will host a parade, free pancake breakfast and memorial service at Sunset Hills Cemetery on Monday, May 25.
The day will kick off with breakfast from 7 to 9 a.m. at Post 14, 225 E. Main St., downtown Bozeman. Eggs, pancakes, sausage and coffee will be served at no cost, though donations are welcome.
Bozeman’s sixth annual Memorial Day Parade begins at 9:30 a.m., marching down Main Street from Seventh Avenue to Church Street. The parade will feature marching bands from Bozeman High School and Kingston, Washington, and 38 other entries. Gold Star families, who have lost family members in service to their country, will be honored at the front steps of the County Courthouse.
Any veteran wishing to walk or ride in the parade can meet at the Bozeman High parking lot on Main Street at 8:45 a.m. Monday.
