The Gallatin Ice Foundation teams up with Bozeman Film Society to score a winning goal, bringing Gabe Polsky's fun and fascinating film Red Army to the Ellen Theatre on Saturday, May 9th. This award-winning film tells the Cold War era story of the Russian National Hockey team, its star player Slava Fetisov, and how the course of international hockey was changed through courage and dedication. The Gallatin Ice Foundation (GIF) is a 501c3 non-profit organization leading fundraising efforts for the "Raise the Ice Barn" campaign - a project to build a year-round refrigerated ice skating rink at the Gallatin County Fairgrounds.
This all-ages evening kicks off at 7:30pm with special guests from the Bozeman Senior A Stingers and Bozeman Icedog players. Raffle tickets by GIF will support the "Raise the Ice Barn" campaign.
