Comedies of David Ives
Each performance will present five short comedies rich with the absurdities and peculiarities of the English language and of our struggles to communicate, to express ourselves and to connect with one another. From three monkeys trying to write Hamlet to a couple navigating the precarious maze of saying the right thing in order to find love, the sharp-witted, fast-paced plays have earned Ives the title “maestro of the short form.”
