Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation® is celebrating the donation of much needed equipment to Bozeman Fire Department and Gallatin Gateway Rural Fire District with an equipment dedication ceremony to demonstrate the equipment’s use.

Attendees include Bozeman Fire Department Battalion Chief Mark Criner, firefighters from both departments, Firehouse Subs Co-Founder and Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation Board President Robin Sorensen, Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation Senior Manager of Foundation Development Meghan Vargas, Area Representative Maryellen Mech, and Firehouse Subs franchisee Joseph Cobb.

DONATION DESCRIPTION
Bozeman Fire Department received vehicle stabilization kits worth more than $36,000. Gallatin Gateway Rural Fire District received rescue air bags worth more than $5,000. The donated tools will improve the departments’ rescue capabilities for victims in motor vehicle accidents and collapsed buildings as Gallatin County is a high earthquake zone.

LOCAL FUNDRAISING INITIATIVES
Each restaurant recycles leftover, five-gallon pickle buckets and sells them to guests for $2. Donation canisters on register counters explain the non-profit’s mission and collect spare change, while the Round Up Program allows guests to “round up” their bill to the nearest dollar. All funds raised benefit the Foundation.
