Sneak Preview of "The Hunting Ground" Film Wednesday, April 1, 2015 Doors 6:30, Film 7 Emerson Crawford Theater From the team behind THE INVISIBLE WAR, comes a startling expose of sexual assault on U.S. campuses, institutional cover-ups and the brutal social toll on victims and their families. Weaving together verite footage and first-person testimonies, the film follows survivors as they pursue their education while fighting for justice - despite harsh retaliation, harassment, and pushback at every level.
Join us for a sneak preview of "The Hunting Ground," one of the most talked about films at this years' Sundance Festival. Wednesday, April 1st at 7pm in the Emerson Theater. The film will be followed by a panel of local activists and experts who will discuss what is being done to combat sexual violence in our community. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Survivor Fund, a fund managed by MSU's VOICE Center and Students Against Sexual Assault to help support local survivors.
