Snobar
Walls of snow, a dazzling array of lights and lasers, bartenders in parkas, and one raging DJ is Big Sky Resort’s famous Snobar on January 17 and 24, 2015. Après ski fun for this 21 and over venue begins around 5:00pm until 9:00pm next to Swifty 2.0 above the Swift Current chair lift near the Mountain Village.
Big Sky Resort’s Terrain Park crew each year changes the Snobar in shape and size and will be revealed on January 17, 2015. Snow Cat and hand-built completely out of snow, with roughly a 12 foot lighted ceiling, the Snobar entry is $5.00 cash at the “door” with includes a complimentary glow stick. Bozeman’s DJ 5 Star will be pumping the music as people show their dance moves in ski boots, snowboard boots, or any ol’ shoe they feel comfortable in while dancing on snow
“Snobar is uniquely Big Sky Resort. It’s one of those signature events you can’t experience anywhere else in Montana and few other places on earth,” said Anna Husted, Big Sky Resort Event Manager. “It’s blast from beginning to end. It’s a bucket list event for anyone.”
The Snobar party heats up at 9:30pm in Whiskey Jack’s as DJ 5 Star continues pumping the jams indoors keeping guests spinning on the dance floor.
