Exactly one week prior to providing music for the BFS contra dance on Friday, Jan. 9, the Maine-based duo of Sassafras Stomp will do a sit-down show at The Verge. The Bozeman Folklore Society Concert Series will kick off the New Year with an intimate concert of high energy, traditional fiddle music, from 7-9 pm, Friday Jan 2nd at the Verge Theater located at 2304 Nth. 7th Ave. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the local Weatherwood Trio (Steve Marty, Lindsay Turnquist, Tom Robison) will open with a brief set.
