Louverly up The Beatles

The Louverlys are a Bozeman based band that utilizes two part harmony singing, an acoustic guitar, bass, fiddle, and drums. Their name is an homage and mashup of the Louvin, Brothers and the Everly Brothers.

Tonight the band returns to Wild Joe’s Coffee Spot for an early evening of live music. The theme for the event is: The Louverlys Louverly Up the Beatles.

The Louverlys like to murder other artist’s songs, butcher them, and force the parts through a hand cranked sonic sausage grinder in order to remake the song into a Louverlys special. This music grinder has just three speeds and two cutting wheels. One of the wheels cuts everything in four parts and sounds like a train beat. The other wheel cuts it all in three pieces and produces classic waltz dancing music. A dose of Cajun spice is added to the ground up song and then it is served up in a cheerful family friendly manner. Dancing is encouraged.

The music starts at 7:30 pm. There’s soda pop and the dancin’s free.

Cost: no cover
