Hometown Brewers and Prohibition: An American Tragedy
with 406 Brewing Company
The national prohibition against the commercial manufacture and sale of liquors of all types spelled the doom of hometown breweries and a national tradition of regional beers. We will share this tragic tale and investigate the ways in which westerners attempted to elude the dreaded prohibition police.
