Improv funk electro band, Grooves Unknown, are joined by Plad Bus and Boxwood Band at The Zebra Cocktail Lounge on Thursday, May 8th, for a night of ass-shaking and exploration of numerous musical genres.

GROOVES UNKNOWN features Matt Rogers (guitar), Garrett Rhinard (synth), and Joe Sheehan (drums) of Cure For The Common, along with Sean Lehmann (bass) of Pinky and the Floyd, and Preston Tate White (keys) of Ten Foot Tall and 80 Proof
 
PLAD BUS is our region's only band dedicated to the music of the legendary contemporary jazz group, The Bad Plus, featuring Sean Lehmann on bass, Chris Cundy on B3, and Aaron "Raz" Rasmussen on drums. You've never heard jazz like these guys play it.
 
THE BOXWOOD BAND will rock you with contemporary and classic folk & rock tunes... From original compositions, to artists like The Wood Brothers, MMW, Galactic, John Scofield, and more. The band features Preston White on guitar, Aaron Rasmussen on drums, Archer MoonMan on bass, and Tyler Schultz on keys.
