Alter Ego
Feb: 21-22
Alter Ego was initiated in 1999 and within milliseconds was off and running. Playing bar-gigs for the next few years gained the band's reputation throughout the community as one of the best cover bands around, but it wasn't until the last few years that Alter Ego really began to mesh with a head of steam. With a lot of hard work in Big Al's studio, "Fairytales From the Wasteland" was concocted. Alter Ego's recognition and confidence elevated. AE began playing more shows, and were getting air time on the local radio stations "The Eagle 104.7 and 105.7." Alter Ego's songs would get sandwiched between the likes of Led Zeppelin and Aerosmith. In 2002 the band received a spot on the local stage of the music festival "Rockin' The Rivers."Alter Ego put on a great show and was invited back the next year. The group made four more appearances then in 2009, were bumped up to the oh-so-glorious "Main Stage." Later in 2009, they signed a contract for the song "Fairytales From the Wasteland" to be played during the pre-game radio show at the Montana State University home football games.
