Winter Composting Workshop
Never know what to do with your kitchen scraps in the winter? This workshop will cover vermiculture and bokashi composting, two alternative forms of composting that are ideal for cold climates.
Vermiculture uses worms to break down food scraps and is easily accomplished inside the home in a bin. Bokashi composting uses beneficial micro-organisms to ferment scraps and can break down meat and dairy.
