MOR's Montana Trails Lecture Series

Museum of the Rockies is teaming up with Lone Mountain Ranch in Big Sky, MT, to offer community lectures exploring Montana’s recent and ancient history. A horse-drawn wagon will take you from the lower parking lot to Ranch Hall, where you will enjoy light appetizers, beer, and wine with the lecture. Activities appropriate for children will be provided outside of the Ranch Hall.

This is a three-part series of monthly lectures on Thursdays, each with a reception at 4:00 p.m. and a lecture at 4:30 p.m. Thursday, June 13 | Discovering Dinosaurs in Montana with the John R. Horner Curator of Paleontology Dr. John Scannella as he discusses the museum’s ongoing exploration of the Age of Dinosaurs and how regional discoveries impact our understanding of life on Earth.
