Art Walk with Greg Keeler

Greg Keeler is a Montana songwriter, poet, writer, artist, humorist, and professor. He also plays guitar, harmonica, and kazoo. He’ll be sharing his poets-eye-view with us for a reading of his newest collection The Bluebird Run for the Downtown Bozeman Art Walk. This monumental collection of 180 new sonnets ranges from humorous flights to poignant meditations on loss, love, aging, and the fate of humanity faced with looming environmental and social crises. Fans of both Keeler’s irreverent songwriting and his deep-thinking explorations into life’s pains and mysteries will find much to treasure in this new collection.

Art Walks occur on the second Friday of the month June through September and a special “Winter” Art Walk in December from 6 to 8PM at art galleries and businesses displaying artwork located along Main Street and at the Emerson Center for Arts and Culture. The galleries feature artists’ openings and receptions and often provide hors d’oeuvres and complimentary refreshments. Also, keep an eye out for local musicians playing music as your stroll Main Street in Downtown Bozeman.
