Bozeman born pianist Adam Platt shares his New York City ensemble, AP3, during a special two night event. Platt's adventurous style of improvisation weaves a tapestry of genres together in one stream of consciousness and spans the gamut of American popular music, reaching all the way from the swinging jazz and blues of the '40's and '50's (Duke Ellington, Oscar Peterson, Ahmad Jamal), to classic '60's and 70's rock (Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, David Bowie), and even rock and pop tunes from the 80's, 90's through today. AP3 features Platt on piano, bassist Julian Smith and drummer Tim Bulkley. Concerts will be held at The Shed; an intimate venue and working recording studio located near east Main Street.
