Pinhead Classic

The Montana Telemark Corporation in a non-profit organization founded in the State of Montana. The MTC's key event is the Pinhead is the longest running telemark ski festival in the country (but now all that ride the wood are welcome). Each year we pick a theme and skiers converge from all over the country at Bridger Bowl, dressed in theme-related costumes to ski our non-traditional dual slalom "race course". This year it will be on MARCH 4 with a theme of 1981: A THROWBACK TO THE ORIGINAL PINHEAD". A raffle and silent auction is to follow directly after the race at the Jim Bridger Lodge.

In the evening, the Pinhead reception is held at the Eagles Ballroom where live music and delicious beer from Bozone Brewing Company can be expected. This year One Leaf Clover is playing for Skavocado!

This is not your traditional ski event. Our prizes go to people with the best costumes, biggest air, and some other funny ones that EVEN YOU could win! There are no timers on this slalom.

All of this ridiculous fun is really as serious as it gets. For the last 36 years, every dollar of profit goes to the Gallatin National Forest Avalanche Center and KGLT.
