Boston-based and Billings-bred folk singer & guitarist Lindsay Straw will be performing a concert of Christmas songs, traditional Celtic music, and acoustic covers at Townshend's Bozeman Teahouse on Saturday, December 17 from 5-7pm. She is an interpreter and arranger of traditional and contemporary songs from the British Isles and America, an accompanist for traditional Irish music, and an award-winning wedding and private event performer in the Boston-area. Her first album, My Mind From Love Being Free, was described as "hearken(ing) back to more innocent times, of Greenwich Village and pure folk" by The Living Tradition. With the help of a grant from renowned Cambridge folk venue Club Passim, she'll be releasing her second album in early 2017.
