The Alkis are a folk/rock duo from Seattle with a sound similar to Brandi Carlile and The Head and the Heart. The lead singer (Carly Calbero) has been featured inRolling Stone Magazine, Seattle Metropolitan, and Evening Magazine for herpowerful vocals and performances. Our show is very unique since they play avariety of different covers along with our original music. Nika Waschler plays a cajon drum - which isn't not very common and is a great way to get the sound of a drum set without the overwhelming volume. They've played extensively in Washington, Oregon, Arizona, Nevada, California, and are touring the Midwest and East Coast this year!
