On The Rise Bread Co., has been passionate about creating artisan breads in Bozeman, Montana since 1997. Nearly all OTR bread is naturally leavened with a starter called Desem, which means “starter” in Flemish. OTR Desem has been in continuous use for 29 years. All of the flour and grains used for our naturally leavened loaves are locally grown. OTR stone grinds whole grains; use filtered water and sea salt in all of their dough. On the Rise seeks to bring customers a loaf that is as beautiful to behold, as it is to taste. OTR hearty artisan loaves provoke deep rustic flavors and aromas. On The Rise uses pure and simple ingredients, then handcrafts each loaf into its own unique shape. You can taste the energy and dedication that goes into each loaf.
