Tours for Tots
Tuesdays, 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. | Redstart Classroom
Free, for MOR members only
Limited capacity, pre-registration is required
MOR is excited to welcome back families with preschoolers (ages 3 – 6) in a limited capacity for in-person preschool programming! This series of tours examines different areas of the museum with an early education focus. Each program offers a chance to ask questions as we explore each subject with a hands-on activity, art project, and related story.
The same program is offered two weeks in a row to accommodate more families.  Siblings of all ages are welcome.  Please register the child that will be actively participating in the program (ages 3-6).  If you are bringing siblings or additional adults, please send us an email at programs@montana.edu.
September program descriptions:
  • Satellites (September 8 & 15) – Beep boop! We’ll learn some space history and about different types of satellites, build a satellite, and launch stomp rockets.
  • Sauropods (September 22 & 29) – THUD! Let’s learn about the biggest dinosaurs of all, the long-necked sauropods! We’ll do a short tour, build a sauropod craft, and tell a dinosaur story.
