Artists of all experience levels will learn the basics of watercolor as we learn and practice techniques specifically useful when painting birds. Over the two week course, students will complete two paintings of two species of bird. Participants will be required to bring their own supplies - a list of recommended items will be distributed in the coming weeks. Rachel Allen graduated with a minor in Fine Art from Utah State University in 2005, and worked as a Graphic Designer for four years before transitioning to a career in communications. A lifelong love of the arts has led her to continue to pursue art as a hobby, with a specific interest in various forms of painting, most recently with a focus on watercolor.
