Seattle native. Singer-songwriter and guitarist with Rock n' roll, folk, indie, blues, country and punk influences including Elliot Smith, Billy Bragg, Robert Johnson, and Alison Krauss. Maricsz has been plucking strings on the guitar for over a decade but just released her first CD, RagBag, last year. It's full of raw, honest lyrics and heartfelt songs that span a few different genres to keep it interesting. The songs will stick in your head. She'll share these and more originals, and a few covers with you. Her other main hobby is trail running: she's a strictly-back-of-the-pack ultra-runner and can be found roaming in the wilderness, probably humming a catchy bluesy tune.
