Plonk is amazing. Such a cool atmosphere that makes you feel like you're in a big city. The drinks are thoughtfully crafted and I've had some good appetizers, like the beet gnocchi. The service has always been better than most in Bozeman. I definitely recommend coming here.

Reviewed: Sola Cafe

Sola is a special place. They often incorporate local ingredients, like duck eggs, into their dishes. It does get quite busy on the weekends and during lunch, but you can order ahead on their website. The staff is very friendly and does everything they can to make sure everyone is content. There is an extreme amount of thought that is put into sola and it is really admirable. I recommend the waffle special, cake slices, and the spicy chai.

I had the lavender blueberry smoothie, and it was pretty good!

Reviewed: Un-Knotted

Unknotted was very subpar the few times I went. The veggie burger was a little overcooked and the mocha, which was overpriced, was terrible. Perhaps they have improved since then but I wouldn't get out of my way to come here. The space is really unique though.

Reviewed: Treeline Coffee Roasters

I love treeline. They have awesome, well crafted drinks. I like that you can see the roasting equipment in the corner. They just expanded their food menu so they are a great option for lunch. I have to say that I'm a little disappointed that they increased the price on their waffles by $2, so now I'm not sure I can justify spending that much money. But if you can, I highly recommend getting them. They are a great addition to the Northeast neighborhood.

Reviewed: Townshend's Bozeman Teahouse

I love this place! As someone who can't drink coffee I really appreciate having an alternative cafe to go to. They have some interesting tea drinks like tea lattes and kombuchas. The only thing I would change if I were the owner is the dark brown walls. I highly recommend checking this place out!

The space is awesome. They have a great selection of alcoholic beverages. However, the food is really subpar. My mom ordered a salad and it was almost too salty for her to eat. I had a risotto and it was pretty flavorless. I would come here for a drink but not for the food.

Gil's is pretty good, but a little overpriced. The space is interesting.

Reviewed: Dave's Sushi-Off Main

What is wrong with Dave's ? EVERY time my friend and I have gone- both together and separably- we have received terrible service. On one occasion, the waitress overcharged us by $5 for no reason. When we politely asked for the bill to be fixed, she sassed back at us, claiming it was the computer's fault. When she returned, she pretty much threw the check on the table without saying have a nice night...etc. Unbelievable. The food is fine but the service sucks and I'm not returning.

The Daily is a really unique space. They have some interesting pastry and dessert options.

Reviewed: The Coffee Pot Bakery and Cafe

WAY too overpriced. All of their lunch items, including a slice of quiche, is not under $10. Their macarons are way too sweet. Just overrated in my opinion.

Blacksmith is awesome! I love their seasonal soups. They have a nice patio in the summer. The owner is very friendly.

Reviewed: Bisl

So much care and thought is put into each dish at bisl. The food has some Scandinavian influences, possibly because the chef trained at relae, a Michelin starred restaurant in Copenhagen. I would recommend coming here for a unique dining experience in Bozeman.

Reviewed: Saffron Table

I've always had good experiences at Saffron Table. The food is fantastic and the service is way superior to other restaurants in town. The atmosphere is cozy as it is in what looks like an old farmhouse. The only thing negative about it is that I've heard from a former employee that they do not pay their staff fairly.

Reviewed: Red Tractor Pizza

I love Red tractor. They have some really unique pizzas and the option to design your own. I love that they serve Dean's Zesty Booch. It is a little pricey so I don't go there that often but it is worth it.

Reviewed: Pizza Campania

Pizza Campania is pretty good. I would only order their pizzas, as the salad I had was underwhelming. The space is awesome since it's in an old grain storage building. I have to say I prefer Red tractor or blackbird but this place is definitely my 3rd choice for pizza in town.

Reviewed: Maples Coffee

Maples was okay. It's in a random location but I think that adds to its character. The staff was very friendly. It's a little bit pricey, and they only have one size for drinks which is weird. The scone I had was a little gummy. They have a nice patio in the summer. If you are passing by, check it out. Its the only decent coffee option in that area.

Reviewed: Jam!

Jam is fine overall. The coconut flax pancake was pretty decent. It is on the pricey side, but the portions are large. On weekends, prepare to wait an hour to be seated. Overall it's a good breakfast option but I would recommend going on a weekday or getting reservations.

Reviewed: Five On Black Brazilian Grill

5 on black is a great place to grab a quick meal. For the relatively low price, the portions are pretty decent. I really appreciate that because it is hard to eat out in Bozeman without overspending or getting fast food. The space is fun and the staff has always been friendly.
